HISTORY OF ĐOÀN KITO VUA
Officially established on September 5th, 2021. Đoàn Kito Vua meets, plays, and prays weekly throughout the school year. We help our parish participate in mass, and serve throughout the community. It's a new name, with familiar faces. Three previous Đoàns of the Greater Boston Region of Massachusetts - Chúa Hài Đồng of Chelsea, Toma Thiện of East Boston, and Nữ Vương Hòa Bình of Malden - disbanded their associations with their previous parishes and merged under on St. Clement Parish of Medford, Ma. Our dedicated Huynh Trường carry the essence and experience from their previous Đoàn to fuel the flame of Đoàn Kito Vua. "Seated at the right of the throne of the Majesty in heaven". Đoàn Kito Vua, transcribed as Christ the King, embodies the strength and wisdom of nobility. God has blessed us with His spirit - truly fitting for kings! The "King" aspect of our name gives us our depth, but the "Christ" element is our true lifetime. It is the overarching sun that shines upon us - it burns our fuel, ignites our soul, and propels us to act in His name throughout our communities and the world. The ashes and dust of the fallen stars (Đoàns) feed into the emergent Christ, the King.
